Recently, we received a heartfelt letter from a patient, James Allison, a patient at Saint Joseph Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, in Joliet. His journey began in February 2024, when a minor foot surgery led to severe nerve injury in his right leg. Despite seeking physical therapy at another facility, his condition did not improve. Following extensive testing at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, James underwent complex nerve surgery — a Tarsal Tunnel Release and Soleal Sling Release — in January 2025.
